GX stands for 'General'

As a universal vehicle, the GX is equally at home on the road and in the field. The running gear offers great driving comfort, good road stability and easy running.

The drawbar

The hydraulic articulated drawbar makes the GX universal trolley a smarter machine. This simple but highly functional design eliminates a hydraulic stand for attachment to the tractor. Since it can lower the front end, it eliminates the headboard hatch and optimizes the filling process by raising the rear end. In extreme conditions, the GX offers maximum ground clearance and variable tongue loads.

The KRONE GX universal trolley is a high-capacity machine that adapts flexibly to different applications. For example, the telescopic extensions can easily vary the volume and adapt the loading height to the job at hand.

The back

The dual-function tailgate is another smart feature on the KRONE GX. After all, versatility is the key to the GX. The two optional discharge rollers on the KRONE GX 440 and GX 520 models unload the material in a uniform mat for perfect rolling. The powerful and efficient rollers are designed to handle the high unloading speed of the floor belt. When not in use, they simply swing up and out of the way.

Our hydraulic axle assemblies are specially developed for our wagons and trailers. As such, they offer exceptional road stability and best rides in extreme situations - which are essential and almost indispensable features in today's trucking business. Thanks to a unique axle configuration, the GX offers great stability and a quiet ride.

brakes

The GX 440 and GX 520 have a dual line air brake as a standard feature. The hydraulic ALB valve controls the braking force in relation to the current load. Spring-accumulated brake cylinders ensure that the machine is parked safely in any terrain.

Improved reliability

EBS is the optional electronic braking system which includes ALB, ABS and RSS functions. The roll stability system activates the brakes when it detects a risk of rollover, ensuring maximum stability when taking tight turns at speed. Combined, all these features lead to increased reliability

Ground clearance

As an all-rounder, the GX is designed to also function in extreme conditions. Therefore, the brake unit sits on top of the axle, where it is protected from dirt for reliable operation and maximum clearance.

Stability in the field and on the road

Ever larger and faster tractors, ever higher trailer capacity and payload require a thorough reconsideration of road and field safety. That is why KRONE offers the electronic brake system as an optional extra. The system comes from the industrial sector and has proven itself exceptionally well for many years. In addition, intelligently steered axles help protect the ground and provide extra safety.

Intelligent caster-steer aksel

Wheel steering is standard specification on GX 440 models with tandem axles. The steering system can be locked hydraulically during shunting, clamping and during road work. The system is easy to use thanks to the automatic axle lock function, which is activated when the machine reaches a preset speed or goes into reverse gear.

Hydraulic forced steering

The steering system on tandem and tri-axle models is mounted on the tractor via a standardized ball joint, a steering rod and a hydraulic master cylinder which controls the flow of oil to and from the power steering cylinder.

Electronic forced control

The specialty of this control system is a processor that receives data from a steering angle sensor and connecting rod. The integrated hydraulic system supplies the steering cylinder with oil, making the GX a very agile machine. As speed increases, operator interference is reduced for increased road safety. However, in field mode the operators can interfere with the steering, which is important on the slope or pinch or when shunting, for example.

ISOBUS drift

The general carriage is conveniently operated from the standard fitted ISOBUS control unit. Its clear user interface offers intuitive operation and displays machine data and setup information. You can select your preferred view from configurable buttons. As it is our claim to provide operators with a clear and self-explanatory user interface and operator environment, the GX can be operated either from your tractor terminal or from an additional ISOBUS terminal – ideally one from the KRONECCI family with either an 8-inch by 12-inch screen that displays machine data and feeds from an optional rear view camera side by side.

The remote control

Thanks to the optional radio remote control, you can remotely operate the GX from the ground: open and close the tailgate or operate the floor/head rail readout unit at variable speed. Stay on top of things without a helper.

KRONE ExactUnload

NEW: A world first – unique unloading control according to the length of the well With ExactUnload, GX automatically unloads its load at speeds that match the length of the well. The operator sets the unloading speed steplessly for a course between 10m and 100m. ExactUnload actively controls the unloading speed to match the tractor's current driving speed, helping you deliver the crop in accurate and reproducible heaps. With a nice carpet, the GX is particularly good for filling silage pits and controlled unloading routines in the field.

Up to eight LED work lights, side lights that are visible from far away, reflective stripes and an optional camera with screen are very useful additions that make working at night easier and safer. Together with the underrun guard, this equipment provides maximum work and road safety.

External light

Up to eight additional side lights are available for the KRONEGX model as optional equipment, illuminating the axle and the machine's surroundings for safer and easier maneuvering and driving next to the forage machine at night, as well as for increased safety on the clamp.

Underpass guard

A hydraulic underride guard provides increased safety on public roads. You can fold it to make maneuvering next to chasers and harvesters much easier. In addition, no crops can accumulate on the guard when it is out of the way. It automatically folds into road position as soon as the forward speed reaches 15 km/h.

Cameras are an option

The GX models are available with optional cameras, one that projects images from inside the machine and one that doubles as a rear view camera. The screen has a changeable color screen that takes the hard work out of harvesting and also makes it safer.

Visible from a distance / Mark the contours

LED rear lights complete with indicators, reverse and brake lights plus additional LED lights at the top warn drivers ahead of a turn. Side lights indicate the full size of the machine.

SmartConnect

The KRONEsmart-Connect telemetry unit is an option for the GX. Provides GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities and acts as an interface with the data management software. Telemetry allows managers to track the cart and record all major data and transfer it to the office. This is the modern way of farming.

Interior lights

Optional LED light bars can be installed inside the cargo area for optimized visibility. Indirect light makes loading the machine from a combine more comfortable. They can be operated together with the tractor's lights.

The electronic weighing system

The optional electronic weighing system uses sensor pins on the drawbar and on the tandem/tridem axle with hydraulic pressure compensation. The weight of the load corresponds to the accumulated drawbar tongue load and axle pressure. The weight is recorded and evaluated after the job and shown on the display screen.

Reading of the current load

The pressure gauges show the current payload by indicating the pressure inside the hydraulic cylinders on the articulated drawbar and in the undercarriage

Nothing is lost

Crop cover is an option for KRONE general wagons. They secure the crop by fast road transport. The doors open and close hydraulically.
